I wish I wasn't in school right now, I just about crapped my pants when I saw the sweet news on www.guildwars.com I'm going home at lunch to go try it out, and maybe I won't go back to school. I got my next issue of pcgamer in the mail today and was reading the half life 2 exclusive. I found one part interesting, it said: "(Given that Valve still won't talk about half life 2 multiplay, the office money is that team fortress II will actually be the multiplayer mode.)" That is just a rumor though, but anyway here's a picture from the magazine.

I havn't heard much news about Rome:Total war for awhile, but theres a new preview on gamespy. Here is one of the best quotes ive ever heard for a game "There are 102 types of units in the game, including dogs, flaming pigs (useful for scaring elephants), and even screeching women or naked barbarians." That's the coolest thing I ever heard of! Think of 10,000 naked women running in against Ceasar's Army, they wouldn't be able to resist and all of Rome would be destroyed! I don't have any pictures of naked women but...

SO MUCH GUILDWARS LATELY! I am looooviiin IT! Gamespot has a new preview with a ton of new screenshots. Looking at the screenshots makes me think of diablo alot. That is a good thing..

Today featured on Gamespy.com's front page is guild wars, my favorite pc game that is currently in development. Basically it describes gameplay, graphics, features, yadda yadda. A couple of new exciting screenshots have been released though. Here's one of them check the forums for the rest!

I found some new screenshots of halflife 2 at http://www.half-life2.de they have very nice resolution and graphics look splendid, to bad we haft to wait till summer to play it...or next year.

I'm a little late on announcing that battlefield 2 is in development and is currently scheduled for spring 2005. Instead of ww2 combat it will be modern combat with m1a1's etc etc. Here's a screenie!

Whoa I got alot of updates today since im grounded I can only update in class.

An article called "chip rewires on the fly" on News.com talks about a new processor dubbed the "stretch" processor, can out perform a 2hgz only running at 300mhz... HOLY $#!*

For all you Everquest 2 fans, beta sign ups start on May 3rd on http://everquest2.station.sony.com/ Everquest has incredible graphics, especially for a mmorpg, but don't expect me to play it because I do have a life afterall. UNLESS! it turns out I don't then ill spend day and night getting skinnier and maybe fatter till I pwn every realm in Everquest 2.

Half Life News

On www.planethalflife.com there is a video of some guy beating half life in under an hour. I actually was so bored I watched some of it and he didn't even die, not even once!

Natural Selection beta 4 has been released earlier this week so get over on to fileplanet and support NS.

Today I get my Amd 2800+ Barton cpu in the mail from fedex. I got it for my birthday on april 17th. I think they run for around $112 on www.newegg.com Since the 64bit processor's came out the athlon's prices are dropping pretty fast. I'll have a review posted by next week on overclocking, benchmarking, cooling, and more!

Oh wait what's this! I found an article that says: half life 2, box art shown, date still 2004. I really hate all these rumors and I want an official date when half life 2 will be released, I heard there will be a new article about half life 2 in the upcoming june issue of pcgamer. OMG OMG. On the official Guild wars website,www.guildwars.com they stated that at the e3 connvention in may, there will be a playable demo for you try out from may 12-14. You will be able to play along with the people on the show floor at e3! Saweet!

A new statement from Gabe Newell said that Half life could slip till 2005 here's the full report at I knew this was comin.Here is the official quote from Gabe if you have a noob internet connection:

"We've already spent millions into this project, and we're willing to spend as much as we need to make this the best first person experience ever. If that means delaying the game to 2005, we'll do it without any hesitation. If it means sinking another $20 million into the project, we can do it. Rest assured, if we delay the game, it'll be only to blow your socks off even more when it finally releases."
